UShaka Marine World
uShaka Marine World in Durban, South Africa is the largest ocean park in Africa and boasts fresh and sea water attractions from shipwrecks to an aquarium and dolphinarium, from water slides to amusement parks, from adventure sport to fine dining and shopping.
Gateway Theatre of Shopping
Attractions at the centre apart from the superb shopping are the entertainment facilities which include 'D-Rex' the only double break wave pool in the world, a huge Tony Hawke designed skateboard park, as well as a climbing wall, cinemas and much more.
Umgeni Bird Park
The Umgeni Bird with a huge collection of both indigenous and exotic birds is situated on the banks of th Umgeni River a 3 minute drive from Mandalay. The Umgeni River Bird Park boasts spectacular waterfalls and lush vegetation, with birds out on perches, in walk-through aviaries and open paddocks, this little jewel is one of the finest bird parks in the world!
The Mangrove Swamps where the the plant and animal life of a typical mangrove can be witnessed close up. This natural mangrove swamp is situated at the mouth of the Umgeni River where it enters the Indian Ocean. The mangroves are within walikng distance and takes you along the banks of the Umgeni (Mgeni) river estuary with prolific birdlife including Fish Eagle and Pelicans.
Kings Park Olympic Aquatic Complex
This complex offers two pools, an Olympic sized main pool and a second diving / water polo pool. Both are heated and thus ideal for those who need their daily swimming exercise.
Kings Park Rugby Stadium
The home of Natal Rugby and the ever popular Natal Sharks, Kings Park is within walking distance but transport to 'big games' can be arranged on request if you prefer not to walk the to the Stadium. (extra cost)
Moses Mabhida Stadium
With its "arch of triumph", the Moses Mabhida Stadium is a defining landmark similar to Sydney's Opera House or The London Eye. In addition to this internationally acclaimed engineering feat, the multi-disciplinary aspect of the stadium's design allows the stadium to host a wide range of sporting and cultural events, putting it on a par with other international venue's such as the Stade du France and Wembley Stadium.

A Virgin Active Health Club is situated at the southern entrance to Kings Park Rugby Stadium with another at the La Lucia Mall. Members are welcome.
